Shipping Policy

How we ship firearms, NFA items, apparel, and accessories.

Effective [EFFECTIVE DATE] · Last updated August 16, 2026

This Shipping Policy explains how Native Industries TX ships firearms, suppressors, other NFA items, apparel, and accessories. By placing an order, you agree to this Policy and our Terms of Service.

1. Where We Ship

We ship to the 50 U.S. states, subject to state and local restrictions. We do not ship internationally, to APO/FPO addresses, or to P.O. boxes for regulated items.

Some products are restricted in certain states, cities, or counties. It is your responsibility to know the laws where you live and where the product will be delivered. If you order a product that cannot legally be delivered to your address or your designated FFL, we will cancel the order and refund the item price (shipping and any transfer fees already paid to third parties may be non-refundable — see Returns Policy).

2. Processing Times

  • In-stock apparel and accessories (Sandhill and Marketplace): typically ship within 1–3 business days of order.
  • Firearms: typically ship to your designated FFL within 3–7 business days after order verification and receipt of the FFL's license copy.
  • Suppressors and NFA items: do not ship until ATF approval of Form 4 is received. Current ATF processing times vary and can range from several months to over a year. We will send status updates as the paperwork progresses.
  • Custom or made-to-order items: lead times are shown on the product page and are estimates, not guarantees.

Orders placed on weekends or federal holidays begin processing the next business day. Order confirmation email is not a shipping confirmation.

3. Shipping Methods and Carriers

We ship via UPS, FedEx, USPS, and, for freight items, common freight carriers. The carrier and service level for your order will be shown at checkout or in your shipment confirmation email.

  • Handguns: by federal law, shipped via UPS or FedEx Next Day Air (adult signature required).
  • Long guns: shipped via UPS, FedEx, or USPS Priority Mail (adult signature required).
  • NFA items: shipped via carrier and service level consistent with ATF and manufacturer requirements.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, and product category. Some products or promotions may include free shipping — this will be stated on the product page or at checkout.

Freight items (e.g., safes, large lots) may require a separate shipping quote; we will contact you before charging any freight surcharge above the checkout estimate.

5. Firearms — FFL Transfers

How transfers work: Native Industries TX is a marketplace and order facilitator — we do not hold a Federal Firearms License and never take possession of any firearm or NFA item. Regulated items ship directly from the seller, distributor, or manufacturer’s licensed FFL to a licensed FFL that you designate. We coordinate the order and the paperwork between those dealers.

5.1 Choosing an FFL

All firearms and NFA items must ship to a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) that you designate. Search FFL dealers using our Collective directory or select any licensed FFL in your state. Confirm with your FFL:

  • That they will accept an incoming transfer from an out-of-state dealer, distributor, or manufacturer.
  • Their transfer fee, hours, and any additional paperwork.

5.2 Sending the FFL's License

Your FFL must email a current copy of their license to ffl@nativeindustriestx.com and reference your order number. We forward it to the shipping dealer on your behalf. The shipping dealer cannot ship until a valid, matching FFL license is on file. If we do not receive it within 14 days of your order, we may cancel and refund the item price.

5.3 Receiving the Firearm

Your FFL will contact you when the firearm arrives. You must:

  • Bring valid government-issued photo ID.
  • Complete ATF Form 4473 in person.
  • Pass a NICS background check.
  • Pay the FFL's transfer fee directly to the FFL.

Federal law prohibits the shipping dealer or your FFL from transferring a firearm to a prohibited person or to a straw purchaser.

5.4 FFL Refusal or Failed Transfer

If your designated FFL refuses to accept the transfer, or if you fail the background check, contact us immediately at support@nativeindustriestx.com. See the Returns Policy for available remedies.

6. Suppressors and NFA Items

NFA items follow a longer, ATF-controlled process:

  1. Order and payment: you place the order and pay in full (item price, tax stamp where applicable, transfer/paperwork fees).
  2. Paperwork: we prepare and submit ATF Form 4 with your (or your trust's) information.
  3. ATF review and approval: wait times vary. Approval is at ATF's sole discretion.
  4. Transfer: upon approval, the suppressor or NFA item is shipped to your designated FFL (or held at ours) and you complete pickup with ID and paperwork.

Because ATF processing times and the timing of an approved transfer are outside our control, we cannot promise a delivery date on NFA items. We will keep you informed as the paperwork progresses.

7. Signatures, Insurance, and Risk of Loss

  • Firearms and NFA items require adult signature at delivery.
  • Risk of loss for shipped items passes to you upon delivery to your FFL (for regulated items) or upon delivery to your shipping address (for non-regulated items).
  • We insure regulated shipments at cost. If a package is lost or damaged in transit, contact us within 5 business days of the expected delivery date; we will file a carrier claim and, once resolved, replace or refund the item.

8. Address Accuracy and Undeliverable Packages

You are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. If a package is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address, refused delivery, or missed signature attempts, we will contact you and, at your election, reship at your expense or refund the item price minus original shipping and any restocking fees.

9. Order Tracking

You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships. Sign in to your account for status updates. For NFA items, see Section 6 — tracking will not exist until after ATF approval.
