This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit nativeindustriestx.com, use our marketplace, purchase from Sandhill Crane Flight Co., start a gun trust, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: name, email, password, phone, shipping/billing address.
  • Order information: items purchased, order value, transaction history.
  • Regulated-item information: for firearms, suppressors, and other NFA items — date of birth, government-issued ID, citizenship, state of residence, responses to ATF Form 4473 eligibility questions, gun-trust information (settlor, trustees, beneficiaries), and the FFL dealer you designate to receive your transfer.
  • Communications: messages you send via contact forms, "Reserve/Inquire" forms, email, or phone.
  • Payment information: payment card and billing details entered into our payment processor (see Section 4).

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page, and clickstream data.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 7.
  • Analytics: we use [Vercel Analytics / Google Analytics / other] to understand how visitors use the Services.

2.3 Information From Third Parties

  • FFL partners and dealers: transfer confirmations, compliance records, and rejection notices.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Process, fulfill, and ship your orders, including regulated-item transfers.
  • Verify eligibility to purchase firearms, suppressors, and other regulated items under federal and Texas law.
  • Facilitate FFL-to-FFL transfers and ATF paperwork (Form 4473, Form 4, etc.).
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
  • Send transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates, transfer status).
  • Send marketing communications, where permitted — you can opt out at any time (see Section 8).
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, straw purchases, or misuse of the Services.
  • Comply with legal obligations, court orders, and lawful requests from ATF, FBI, state police, and other authorities.
  • Improve the Services and develop new products.

4. Payments

We use Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe") to process payments. Your card details are entered directly into Stripe's systems and are not stored on our servers. Stripe's handling of your information is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

We may retain non-sensitive transaction metadata (order ID, amount, last-4 of card, billing ZIP) for accounting, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes.

5. How We Share Information

We share information only as described below. We do not sell your personal information.

  • FFL dealers and gun-trust professionals: to complete regulated-item transfers you initiate.
  • Payment processors: Stripe and, where applicable, Affirm, Klarna, Cash App Pay, and bank-transfer providers.
  • Shipping carriers: UPS, FedEx, USPS, and freight carriers.
  • Service providers: hosting (Vercel), email delivery, analytics, customer support, and IT vendors bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal and safety: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Native Industries, our customers, or the public. This includes ATF, FBI, state and local law enforcement, and Texas Department of Public Safety.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to reasonable confidentiality protections.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services and to comply with legal obligations, including:

  • Firearm and NFA transfer records: retained in accordance with ATF requirements (which for FFLs is generally 20 years for Form 4473 records; we retain related order records for at least the same period).
  • Financial and tax records: retained for at least 7 years or as required by federal and Texas law.
  • Account records: retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember cart contents, measure site performance, and understand how visitors use the Services. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may break parts of the Services (e.g., cart, checkout, sign-in).

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by law.

8. Your Choices

  • Marketing emails: click "unsubscribe" in any marketing email, or email privacy@nativeindustriestx.com.
  • Account: update your account information by signing in, or email us to close your account. Note that we must retain certain regulated-item and financial records regardless of account closure (Section 6).
  • Do Not Track: we do not currently respond to browser DNT signals.

9. State-Specific Rights

9.1 Texas Residents

Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Texas residents have the right to (a) confirm whether we process their personal data, (b) access it, (c) correct inaccuracies, (d) delete it (subject to legal-retention obligations above), (e) obtain a portable copy, and (f) opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal data, or certain profiling. To exercise these rights, email privacy@nativeindustriestx.com. We will verify your request before responding.

9.2 California Residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), California residents have similar rights to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise rights, email privacy@nativeindustriestx.com.

9.3 Other States

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have equivalent rights. Contact us at privacy@nativeindustriestx.com. You may appeal our decision on a rights request by replying to our response email with the subject line "Privacy Appeal."

10. Children

The Services are not directed to individuals under 18, and firearm-related products may only be purchased by adults meeting federal and Texas eligibility requirements (generally 21 for handguns, 18 for long guns, subject to state and federal restrictions). We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

11. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including HTTPS/TLS in transit, encrypted storage where reasonable, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. International Users

The Services are operated from the United States and intended for U.S. customers. Regulated items are not shipped or transferred internationally. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer of your information to the U.S.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated by email or by prominent notice on the site.
