Best .300 Blackout Suppressors, Ranked

For most .300 BLK builds the Q Trash Panda is the one: short, light titanium, made for this cartridge. Shooting subsonic only and want it quietest? CGS Hyperion. Gassy supersonic SBR? HUXWRX Flow 762 Ti. Watching the budget? Canik VOID-762 or the Omega 300.

Top picks

  1. Best overall1. Q Trash Panda$1,050
  2. Least gas in your face2. HUXWRX Flow 762 Ti$1,299
  3. Quietest on subsonic3. CGS Hyperion$1,300

Subsonic or supersonic decides the can

  • Subsonic .300 BLK (190–220 gr) never breaks the sound barrier, so there’s no crack downrange. A long, quiet can pays off most here.
  • Supersonic (110–125 gr) still cracks downrange no matter what can you run, and it over-gasses a short barrel. Go low back pressure.
  • Shoot both? A welded multi-caliber can like the Nomad 30 or Omega 300 covers both and your .308 too.
  • .300 BLK barrels are threaded 5/8x24, not the 1/2x28 on most 5.56 ARs. Never adapt a 5.56 muzzle device onto a .300 BLK barrel: the hole is too small for a .308 bullet.

How to pick

How you mount it
Direct thread is shortest and quietest but slow to swap. A QD mount moves fast between guns but ties you to that brand’s muzzle devices. HUB lets you mix brands.
Barrel length
Makers rate sound at a minimum barrel length. The Omega 300 wants 7 in or more on .300 BLK, the VOID-762 wants 9 in. Nine inches is the sweet spot for most builds.
Gas
Short barrels plus a can push gas back at your face and speed up the bolt. An adjustable gas block is the best upgrade on a suppressed SBR. A flow-through can helps too.
Keep your mags apart
A .300 BLK round will chamber in a 5.56 rifle and blow it up. Mark your .300 BLK mags and never mix them with 5.56.

Buying one

  • $0 federal tax since January 1, 2026. No more $200 stamp.
  • Since October 9, 2026, ATF doesn’t enforce Form 4 approval for suppressors. A dealer sale runs the normal Form 4473 and background check.
  • State law still applies. Check yours before you buy.
  • We don’t sell suppressors. A licensed dealer near you does the sale and the paperwork.

Call ahead and ask if they can order the a .300 Blackout suppressor or take a transfer from an online seller.

Questions

What thread is a .300 Blackout barrel?

5/8x24, the standard .30-cal rifle thread. Not the 1/2x28 on most 5.56 ARs.

Can I use my 5.56 suppressor on .300 BLK?

No. A 5.56 can’s bore is too small for the .308 in bullet. Use a .30-cal can rated for .300 BLK. A .30-cal can often runs 5.56 if its maker lists it, but never the other way.

Is .300 Blackout quiet suppressed?

With subsonic ammo it’s one of the quietest centerfire setups there is. Supersonic loads still crack downrange.

Do I still pay a $200 tax stamp?

No. The federal NFA tax on suppressors has been $0 since January 1, 2026. As of October 9, 2026, ATF doesn’t enforce Form 4 approval for suppressors, so a dealer sale runs on the normal Form 4473 and background check. State law still applies.

What barrel length is best for a suppressed .300 BLK?

About 9 in for most builds. Go shorter and you get more blast and gas, and some cans’ ratings assume a longer barrel.

Can I buy one through Native Industries?

We don’t sell suppressors ourselves. We show you where to buy, online or from a licensed dealer near you, and the dealer handles the sale and the background check.
